Wagtails of the Wolds
WHAT WE DO
After the birth of Wagtails of Weybridge, we decided to open a 2nd branch in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, this is where my family live so after many years living in the South of the Country I made the decision to join my family and split my time between Weybridge in Surrey and Driffield.
Wagtails of Weybridge and now Wagtails of the Wolds is based around providing a boutique personable service and experience to both dogs and dog owners. I am the Mummy to 2 dogs (Booty – a Yorkshire Terrier and Barney a Cavapoo) who are my world, so I understand how important they are to us as parents.
Grooming is a major life time experience for dogs so it’s important to find a groomer who provides the love, care and attention to your beloved and here at Wagtails of the Wolds we ensure that we provide a home from home experience – showering them with love, cuddles and kisses as well as making sure they are returned to you smelling gorgeous and looking wonderful like they have just strutted off the cat (dog) walk.
We use top of the range luxury organic shampoos and treatments with a range of hypo allergenic skin treatment shampoos and conditioners. My very own Barney suffers from a skin allergy which is controlled and maintained by using special non-fragrance oatmeal and aloe vera shampoo. We also provide de-shedding treatments for all those dogs who shed – helping your house stay as hair free for as long as possible in-between grooms.
Because we live in a very hectic world these days we know how difficult it is to fit everything in during working hours so to make life easier for you we also provide flexible appointments starting very early (via pre-booked appointment) daytime and evening appointments.
Here at Wagtails of the Wolds we love dogs – you can rest assured that your furry friends will be looked after like they are our own. Our salon has been newly renovated, we use brand new top of the range latest technology, which includes quiet dryers (to protect the ears), we have individual bed areas so they can chill out and get some space if needs me (all with clean cosy bedding) with fresh water and toys to play with.
We are situated in grounds of ¼ of an acre so there is lots of room for them to have fun and frolics whilst spending time here at Wagtails of the Wolds salon.
WHY WE JOINED
I moved to Driffield after spending all of my life in London, not only being a business owner on my own but also moving to a new area could have been daunting and very lonely.
I joined the Driffield Business club because firstly it is a very friendly group of local business owners and secondly it has been such a fantastic support network for me both personally and for my business. I have met many new friends from this club and many new clients via recommendations.
I look forward to the meetings every 2 weeks and I have received such a kind and warm welcome from everybody – I actually feel as though I am part of a bigger organisation yet running my own business – it’s a great team to be part of.
